Mostafa was born in Bangladesh. He completed his B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree from American International University - Bangladesh (AIUB). He worked in Electrical & Telecommunication industry just after his Bachelors. Than, he completed his M.Sc. in Nanotechnology from University of Twente. There, he worked at the NanoElectronics group and MESA+ - Institute for Nanotechnology over a year. He joined as a Research Assistant at Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium. He finished his PhD from Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) in 2015. He finished his first post-doc from this group in November 2016. From December 2016, he is currently working at Micro and Nanosensor group of TU Wien and actively collaborating with Bionanobeam group.

Ágnes was born in Budapest, Hungary. She finished her B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2014. She worked at during her Orvostechnika Kft. during her internship. Currently, she is working on her master thesis in bionanobeam group. She is working on growth and differentiation of Neuron like PC12 cell cultures and microfluidic chips.

Lars finished his B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Now, he is in the master program of Biomedical Engineering at Vienna University of Technology. He is current working on his master thesis on membrane based microfluidic setup for controlled Neutrophin exposure of growth Neurites.

Dr. Johann Karl Mika

Research Field: Microfluidic/microelectronic concepts for peripheral nerve regeneration

Johann received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Vienna University of Technology in 2009 and completed his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering in 2011. In 2015 he finished his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Vienna University of Technology as well his M.Sc. in Technical Management from FH Campus University of Applied Sciences. He also worked as a Post-doctoral researcher in the bionanobeam group.

Zeynep has completed a  Masters degree in Microelectronics, following a Bachelors in  Electrical Engineering, both at the Vienna University of Technology.  Her Masters thesis focuses on performing and analysing cleanroom experiments on germanium semiconductor devices with FEBIE (focused  electron beam etching).  She is particularly interested in further  
research in micro- and nanotechnology and their application in  
sensors.

Benedikt was born in Vienna. He finished his B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from University of Applied Sciences in 2010. He was engaged in several music projects, plays guitar in a band and used his kitchen as experimental cooking lab. Actually, he owns more guitars than pair of shoes. Currently, he is working on targeted chemical stimulation of neurites via 3D microchannel structures.

Marco was born in Venice, Italy. Since his early studies, he was always attracted by natural sciences, with particular regards to Chemistry. After his high school in industrial chemistry, he continued with pure Chemistry education at Padova University, Italy. During his M.Sc. degree, he specialized in Material Sciences, in particular on thin film technologies. During his PhD in this group, he expanded his knowledge at the Institute of Solid State Electronics in computational devices based on magnetic phenomena. He is now working in AT&S, Leoben.

He had previously received his PhD in physics from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, and earlier his Dipl. Ing. degree from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He also worked in the Thin Films Lab of  Ruđer Bošković  Institute, Zagreb

Peter completed in PhD thesis on "A non-destructive, direct-write focused electron beam induced etching process for semiconductors featuring nanometer precision" in 2011. Now, he is working as a Post-doctoral Researcher at University of California, San Diego. 

Dr. Gottfried Hochleitner

Gottfried completed his PhD thesis on "Investigation of electron-beam-induced chemical vapor deposition of iron and gold nanostructures in the low pressure chamber of a differentially pumped scanning electron microscope" in 2011. Prior to that, he also completed his Master thesis in this group. He is now working at IMS nanofabrication, Austria.
